Attention Defecit Hyper-Active Disorder

It hasn't been that many years ago now, that our son started kindergarten. He had a hard time sitting still. With the teachers concern about his constant activity, we pursued finding out what was causing this and what could be done to help him out. We had him tested and he actually tested out as gifted. So next, after an appointment and visit with a psychiatrist, we began the long journey of the drug game. Yes, there are so many different medications, ideas and doctors opinions out there that you wouldn't believe it. If you have been through a similar situation, all this may sound quite familar. For some, the medication works right away and it seems like a miracle while others go through years of gruelling trial and error which is really all they do now a days.

Let me tell you something. Over the last eight years we have been to 6 psychiatrist's, a handful of counselors and hell and back more than once. We have tried every medication out there and combinations of them all. We're getting by but, still haven't actually found the right solution or answer.
